Here are some words from Eve Anderson about her session with me. What she enjoyed and what helped her feel prepared and relaxed on the day.
Tell me in a nutshell what you do
I am the Head of PR for a global PR and Marketing Agency that services some of the world’s best experts in their industry. I lead a team of incredible publicists who secure media for our clients in the best names of media such as Forbes, Vogue, Gaia and Entrepreneur Magazine.
Why did you hire Britt to take your portraits?
I could see she captured everyone’s individual natures really beautifully across all of her shoots and I know my energy would vibe with her style, professionalism and creativity. It was a match made in heaven really.
Were you nervous about your photoshoot? How did you feel on the day?
Britt gave me absolutely everything I needed to make sure I got the most out of my time with her. She managed my expectations and I did the work on my end to make sure I got what I wanted and articulated that well for Britt to execute. She’s an incredible photographer but not a mind reader so a clear brief and concept makes all the difference for a good shoot outcome.
What helped you prepare for the shoot?
Pinterest, her questionnaire, understanding of the shoot space, a list of props I wanted to bring, a clear wardrobe list and a shot list to tick off as we went.
Did your photos live up to your expectations?
More than ever! I’m so in love with them! She captured my playful and creative energy but also made me look and feel strong and professional. No easy feat and yet I have a portfolio of images that say just that about who I am and what I do.
Do you have any feedback about your experience?
Just that I couldn’t ask for a better experience. Britt really is such a beautiful soul and I would trust her with all future business endeavours to capture me or my client’s in the best way.
