Will I tell you what to wear to your session? Nope. I know choosing what to wear can be daunting especially today when so many of us work from home!!! (Anyone else worn PJ's all day, asking for a friend) But it doesn't have to be stressful, there are two things you need to consider before choosing what to wear....... Think about outfits that make sense for your business and also your personality.

Here are five ideas to help you narrow down your focus when it comes to what outfits to choose for your photoshoot.

Tip #1 - Create a Strong First Impression
Since putting up photos of myself on my website I have noticed more genuine enquiries. That's because our customers want to see REAL PEOPLE and they want to connect with them. Not stock photos. Seeing real people creates trust, instantly. This is why first impressions are so important. We can do that with our outfits and our expressions. But first of all we do that by putting ourself out there!
"You never get a second chance to make a first impression"

Tip #2 - Align With Your Brand
Choose colors that complement your Brand colours and have fun with it.
Your Brand is you too! Don't just go for the boring easy black suit (nothing wrong with it but if you are wanting to show personality this is not the choice for you) if you are a creative business person opt for wearing something that says "IM CREATIVE".

Tip #3 - Focus
Attention To You
Wear clothes that fit well and make you feel confident.
Avoid anything too tight or overly loose.
Think about outfits that compliment you and don't detract or overwhelm the photo.

Tip #4 - Confidence is Key
Wearing something that reflects your personality or personal style helps you feel authentic. Feeling true to yourself often translates into more natural and confident body language
Clothes that fit well and feel comfortable allow you to move freely without distraction. When you're not fidgeting or worrying about your outfit, you can focus on posing and expressing yourself.

Tip #5 - Reflect Your Goals
What is the purpose of your photoshoot?
Choose attire that fits your industry or professional role (e.g., a suit for corporate jobs, business casual for creative fields).
Coose a location that makes sense to you and your business. Indoors at a desk. Indoors with a backdrop. Outdoors in a field. Outdoors at a coffee shop. The options are endless. You choose whats right for you.
Have fun with it!
The ladies in these images are not models they are everyday business women who were ALL nervous before their photoshoot. But they showed up ready to go, with outfits they loved and felt comfortable in (& beautiful) and they embraced their nerves. As you can see they all look amazing and none of them dressed to please anyone but themself.
