Tell me in a nutshell what you do?
I'm a business coach for creative women who want to start and grow a profitable wedding business. I coach my clients through marketing, mindset and systems so they can intentionally and successfully grow their dream business.
I also have a wedding business called Gwen Floral Co where we specialise in wildly romantic and refined florals and styling for weddings in Brisbane and beyond.
Why did you hire Britt for your personal brand portraits?
I loved Britt's photography style! It was the perfect blend of soft and light without being super washed out. Her photos looked effortless, and I loved that they aren't overly commercial-looking or staged. Britt was really lovely and communicative even before I had booked her, so I knew that she was the photographer for me!
How did you feel on the day of the photoshoot?
I don't love being front of the camera, but I wasn't too nervous. I definitely feel that I need some guidance and encouragement on the day to make me feel relaxed, and Britt gave these things in spades!
What helped you prepare for the photoshoot?
I am quite an organised person so I loved putting together a Pinterest board with inspiration including posing examples, outfit examples, general vibe etc. I also created a document with a list of photos that I wanted to get out of the photoshoot.
Did your photos live up to your expectations?
Absolutely!! I got SO excited to see the email come through and it was so much fun scrolling through the gallery. Britt really cares about making her clients happy and even asked if there were any editing tweaks that I wanted. She really goes above and beyond which is why I will always turn to her for brand photos.
